Asa and Naomi Reed's Children-Seated in Front Row left to right-Quitman Reed,Margaret Reed Taylor, Martha Reed Robinson, Frances Reed Parks and John Reed. Asa and Naomi left Comanche county, TX. in 1867 and came to California, They settled in what was then San Diego Co., CA.

Their father, Asa D. Reed was from Surry, North Carolina. The children were born in Mississippi, and eventually went to Texas. From there they went to California. All but Martha Reed Robinson settled in California. She and her husband returned to Texas.
