Date taken : 1956 Description : Here are seven of the twelve children and one grandson of James Henry Eversole and his wife Hannah E. Wood, b. 26 Nov 1848, the daughter of Edwin (Edmund) Wood and Mary Emeline Sheeks. Linda Eversole sent me this picture and believes that the individuals are: From left to right, back row: Harry, Henry, Charles, and Rex. Front row: Grace, Mary, Iris and Ida. The latter two were twins. Charles was standing in for his father, John Edwin Eversole (23 Oct 1874-19 March 1955), a deceased son of James Henry & Hannah. The names of the wives of Harry and Rex are unknown.

Comments about this photo:
There are several pictures of Charles which can be seen in the Red Deer Archives at www.archivesalberta.org. They show him as a boy and then while he was in the Royal Air Force during World War II. There is also a lovely picture of a farm home and grounds that he purchased in 1945 after the war was over. Submitted by: bjcarl May 13, 2004
