Studio photo of Elizabeth Sterkel Kahler and Henry J. Kahler (1882-1962). Both Russian-born Germans, they immigrated to the US and settled in the midwest. After living in Michigan, the Kahlers moved to Atkinson, Nebraska abt. 1905, then moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 1936. Elizabeth and Henry died leaving 10 children: 3 daughters and 7 sons.
