Here is a picture, Ruth Doyle, had in her box of photos. I don't know for sure which school it is or any of the persons in the picture. I think that the girl on the top row, fourth from the right is Catherine Harris, a cousin, and the boy in the overalls in the second row is Eugene Cox, another cousin. Can anyone identify the school or anyone in the picture. They went to Independence School, but this may be a school in Heavener.

Paula, I'm curious, was this Ruth Doyle maiden name Inman, as I have one in my family that is a mystery, just the name she married (ie doyle) and of course her parents and sibs, were they from Marshall Co. KY? thank reba parks

Oh, I forgot to mention. It is definitely Heavener Grade School, taken on the east side of the building, where they took all the photos in those days.

Paula, I see several familiar faces. Dick Roberts is far right, top row. The teacher is Mrs. Sartain, 3rd from left on middle row is Reba Sue Austin, The boy you say is Eugene Cox looks like Charles Fox to me.
