Date taken : 1943 Description : Snapshot of WWII Army days. The gentleman on the left is Fred Walter Vallis (1923-1976). Shown with him is William (Bill) Little. Fred Vallis served with Battery B, 546th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion. European Theatre Operation: Arrived Omaha Beachhead on July 14, 1944. Section Chief. Campaigns: Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe. Awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service. Honorably discharged on December 5, 1945.
