Scanned copy of John Avery's Naturalization paper received from Marge (Michaelis) Bristow. I will try to recite the words as I see them:
Probate Court in and for the County of Ottawa and State of Ohio. I (John Avery) an alien and native of (England) being duly sworn depose and say that I first arrived in the United States in the month of (July 1870), and that it is bona fide my intention to become a Citizen of the United States of America, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Poteutate, State or Sorereignty, whatsoever and particularly all allegiance and fidelity to (The Queen of England) whose subject I am. (John Avery) Sworn and subscribed before me this (20th) day of (December 1876). (Signature of Judge-illegible) Probate Judge of said County, Ohio.

I originally had all of the descendants listed of Christiana & George Bristow & Robert & Anna Avery, but this timed out on me, erasing everything I'd wrote. I don't want to chance that again!
