Margaret Jeannetta Stafford and Asa Lee Crow Sr. lived in this house from 1922 until around 1955. The first years of their marriage, they lived at 2702 Broadway with her father Col. Wm. Maner Stafford. Margaret got tired of that "big old Victorian house" (also on this website) and built this home. This house is full of wonderful memories of when my family used to be close. The house to the right was where Kate Stafford Featherstone (Margaret's sister) lived; I assume she lived there with her husband John D. Featherstone Sr., and their two boys (Maner and John Dee Jr.) when her husband was alive.
