Date taken : 1880 Description : These are 2 portraits of Reverends in the Smith family brought out to Saskatchwan from Nova Scotia. No one knows who they are though. There was a sword under one portrait and a cane under the other. It was found in the Harris house on the farm but the maiden name of the wife who had the reverends in the family was Smith. Can anyone identify who they are? Contact me at seankross@yahoo.com
Mystery : Who are the Reverends in the picture? Does anyone know where copies of these pictures may be found? My email is seankross@yahoo.com
Comments about this photo:
I cannot be sure but I believe they may belong to the Methodist Church in Canada. If you find an address for the Diocese in that province and submit the photos, perhaps you'll have a good chance of resolving this. Another option would be to submit it to the Presbyterian and/or Anglican Dioceses of that province.
Good Luck
