This photo was taken, I am sure, at the walk along the East River in upper Manhattan. The cement benches still exist and reach from about 79th Street to 87th street. This is near Gracie Mansion where the Mayor's of NYC Lived until Bloomberg refused to leave his apartment and turned it into a museum.
