My grandmother Hettie DeVore-Flaugh had 2 brothers and 2 sisters that married 2 sisters and 2 brothers from the next farm down the road. Way back then you didn't jump in the car and go into town to look for the opposite sex.

Eugene DeVore m: Cora Miller
John Miller m: Loie DeVore
Charlie Miller m: Bertha DeVore
I think I have them straight and these marraiges lasted. I have a picture of the couples taken in the early 1940's (also posted on Antient Faces). Dick Flaugh

I think I may have a photo of Elmer & Minnie Miller DeVore. I too am a DeVore decendant. The woman in this photo looks identical to Minnie, however there isn't a name attached. My great grandpa Robert Edgar DeVore had a relative named Cyruss DeVore (big family). My grandmother was Pearl Louise DeVore and resembled these DeVore women in their older photo as she reached that age. Wini Richards Fletcher
