Date taken : 1944 Description : Shadyside, the name of Clifton and Margaret Hammett's home in Strongsville, Ohio. Completed in about 1944, Clifton built the one story home with his bare hands, using dynamite to blow the foundation. Clifton is on the roof and son, Clifton Norman Hammett and daughter, June Evelyn Fisher on ladder. Daughter, Jeanette Mildred Hammett is sitting on porch.
