Description :
Looking for any information regarding William Edward Riley's marriage in Oklahoma City, OK (1950-1958) to a beautiful blond widow with a teenage daughter who my father adopted. I have wedding pictures of the daughter and her new husband taken by Swanson Photo Service in Oklahoma City but no date stamped on the back.

My father's name was William Edward RILEY, b. 12 May 1916 d. 24 Oct 1967
both in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas. He married my mother,
Mildred Viola SILMON, (b, 22 Aug 1918 Grubbs, Jackson County, Arkansas
and d. 07 Jun 1988 in Fort Smith, Sebastian County, Arkansas) m. 30 Apr
1938. They were divorced bef 1944.

William Edward RILEY was in the US Navy in WWII (Squadron 466) and he is
buried in the National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas. My father was
known as Ed by family and friends

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Barbara Riley King

Mystery :
Unfortunately, I have no relatives alive who can remember the names of my father's second wife and her daughter. They came to visit me in Amarillo, Texas when my first child was born in 1958. They were later divorced and when my father died 24 Oct 1967 in Oklahoma City her name was not mentioned in his obituary.

Edward Riley looks Cherokee! My gg aunt Elizabeth Risner married Rufus Riley, a Cherokee, during the Civil War and they resided at/near Nowata, OK. I'm wondering if this is the same Cherokee Riley Family??
