Mystery :
I don't know who this young woman is. The magazine she is holding is The Nickell, a childrens? magazine with the date April 1899. It was published in Boston at the time and I have relatives who were in Boston at the time. I speculate that she may have written something published in the magazine or maybe had sold a large number of subscriptions.
