Date taken : 1918 Description : This is my uncle, John Lynn Mort, before going to France as part of the American Expeditionary Forces. He died in France as a 2nd Lieutenant in the 116th Field Signal Battatlion, on 22 November 1918.There is an American Legion post in Lake Elsinore, CA, named for him.
