Peter James Tatum of Autauga County, AL 1850-1934, son of Thomas and Martha Martin Tatum. He was married to Martha Frances Scott and they were parents to ten children (and raised a grandson).

They are supposed to have orginated from England, but I do not know about the spelling changing.

Did the spelling of this name eventually change to Tatham? Did this family come from Tath England?
