Donna, do you know if this line ties in with a John and Agnus Maxwell of Phila. Penn.? Some of the children were Agnus, William,Edgard...From Ireland to Brooklyn to Phil. da.Agnus poisoned with laced candy at a war factory she worked in d.WW1. William went west to Butte Montana.

I'm not sure I believe South Carolina. One thing about this picture is my g g g grandfather was standing to the left of the elderly lady in black. He has been cropped out of the picture now. For years this photo was referred to as the "one of ggggrand dady with his head cut off." As a child I heard of this picture but decided that I did not want to see a picture of a man with "his head cut off". When I did get up enough courage to see the actual picture and realized the photo had been torn not my ggg grandfather I was so relieved.
