Description :
Lewis(Louis) Ruther/Ruthers was in Co. K, 20th Reg't Illinois Infantry at age 23 yrs. Mustered in January 1865. He substitued for Conrad Fricker. After the war he settled in Wheeling, WV. I am a descendent & am interested in either of these families. Particularly, when Lewis immigrated and his parents names. His Civil Records also have it spelled Reither. email: gigizaz@comcast.net
