SIMEON BROADWAY ROBINSON WAS A PRIVATE IN THE 21ST MISSISSIPPI INFANTRY REGIMENT, CO. G. MADISON GUARDS. HE FOUGHT IN ALL OF THE MAJOR BATTLES AND WAS PAROLED AT APPOMATTOX COURT HOUSE, VIRGINIA ON APRIL 9, 1865.
HE WAS BORN IN SOUTH CAROLINA IN 1845. MOVED WITH HIS FAMILY TO FANNIN, MISSISSIPPI ABOUT 1850. MARRIED MATTIE DOUGLAS IN 1869. DIED IN 1895. HE IS BURIED IN THE FANNIN CEMETERY WITH A CONFEDERATE MARKER. HE WAS MY GREAT, GREAT GRANDFATHER.

Candy, checked my Robinson genealogy and am sorry to say I could not pick up an Iva Mae. A lot of my info came from the book written by Frank Allen Robinson, but I mainly just copied my direct line, so she could well be in. Right now there are efforts being made to get the book back in print, the name "TEN ROBINSON GENERATIONS"
