Benjamin Spenser Van Deusen I (1872-1937) Real Estate Broker (b. April 24, 1872, Albany, Albany County, New York, USA - d. May 03, 1937, Jersey City Medical Center, Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, USA) Ben is the son of Peter B. Van Deusen (1845-1926) and Catherine Burnett (1845-1926) and his siblings include: Mina F. Van Deusen (1867-aft1937) who married Edwin K. Pierce (1860-aft1930); Hattie Van Deusen (1869-1907) who married Frank Everett Dyer (1863-1941); and Emmett Peter Van Deusen I (1878-1965) who married Margaret Fulton (c1880-?). Around 1897 Ben married Lynette Mae Curlhair (1872-1942) and they had the following children: Lillian Van Deusen (1898-c1962) who married Clarence (Ethan) Ethan Reeve I (1888-1960); Mildred Lynette Van Deusen (1901-1968) who married Reed Edison Smith (1899-1980); Benjamin Van Deusen II (1903-1972) who married Helene Elizabeth Bentley (1905-1999); and Burnette (Pete) Peter Van Deusen (1913-1993) who married Naida Muriel Freudenberg (1915-1998).
