Charles Sweeny Profeesional Soldier, fought in Mexico, World War I, Poland, Morocco (Rif War), Spain, World War II. He fought for the French Foreign Legion and was awarded The Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour. He fought for the American Army and the Armies of several other countries. Was also known as a Soldier of Fortune, but he came from a wealthy family and fought for just causes instead of the money.
