Description :
David served in Co. E, 4th Tennessee, Mounted Infantry, Union Army. David died 30 June 1866 of chronic diarrhea and liver disease. He was 5 foot 5 inches tall had blue eyes, light hair and complexion. He died at home from effects suffered from the war. He enlisted as a private and was discharged as a sergeant. His mother Eliza Ann Parker Floyd received a mother's pension for his service.
