They were the parents of of one son, Herman Adrain Vallance. John and Emma owned and operated the Vallance Food Store and made their home in Memphis, Hall County, Texas. Emma, John and Herman are buried in the New Fairview Cemetery, Memphis, Hall County, Texas.
