Daniel Flott, born 1834 Cumberland Valley, PA. Eldest son and 2nd child of John & Mary (Rambeau/Rambo) Flott. Enlisted from his home in Knox County, IL. Killed at the Battle of Kenesaw Mountain on 27 June 1864 along with his cousin George W. Rambo. Siblings: Margurette E., Catherine B., Mary, Susanna, Sarah Josephine, George W., Salletta Jane, and Anna Rebecca. He was also the nephew of Daniel and Susannah (Henry) Flott, whose photo is also posted here.
