Description :
Found in a shop in Seattle, Washington. Back of photo states, " Frank Savage at the age of about 7 or 8 years old, and Beulah Kenney, a little neighbor girl that lost her mother and my mother raised her from a baby to about 2 or 3 years old. This picture was taken on the old Austin, Mo. homeplace, with the peach orchard in the back ground. Pearl (Frank's sister) and I had raised the old sheep on a bottle." After researching names, I found a Frank N. Savage and Pearl Savage in the 1910 US census in Austin, Cass Co., Mo. Frank was born in 1891, his sister Pearl Savage in 1886. In the 1900 US Census the Savage family consisted of: father, Edward, born 8/1847 in MA; mother, Jemima (?) born 1/1857 in Ohio; daughter Pearl born 1/1886 in Mo., and son Frank N. Savage born March, 1891 in Nebraska. Living next door is the Kenney family, with father James, born 1/1866 and 4 children, one of which is Beulah, shown in photo. Also found the WWI registration for Frank Savage; this card states that Frank was born March 31, 1891 in Nebraska. At the time he filled out the card he was at an Electrical Training School in Chicago and married.
This is all that I have researched on this family, and they are not relatives.
