Armstead Carter Talley was my gr-gr-gr grandfather.
From what I can tell, he was born about 1813 and died about 1880, and may be buried at
Beth-Car cemetery in White Pine, Jefferson County, TN.
His father was Benoni Carter Talley,
and he was married to Jane Ona Campbell, who is buried at Beth-Car cemetery.
He was the father of (at least)
Charles Wellington Talley (my gr-gr grandfather), Nancy Almina Talley Moser, John Frederic Talley, Martha J. Talley Brown, Joseph Talley and Daniel Talley.
