Description : This is a great photo taken of my grandfather, David John Llewellyn (1902-1957) and one of his army pals during World War I - my grandfather (they guy on the right) told me that he lied his age and was only about 15 when he ran away from home and joined the army, reportedly a common occurance during those times. He served in the rank of a private for 3 years and was wounded in battle.
Veteran Service Start Date:29 Oct 1920 - Veteran Service End Date:9 Apr 1923.
He is buried in the National V.A. Cemetary in Beverly, NJ - Buried At: Section M Site 736
