Description :
This picture, a copy of a tintype, was sent by Hayden K. Monroe (haydenkmonroe@bellsouth.net). It was dated 1895, and Hayden believes it is of Anna Mary (Selbert) Carl, the wife of Christian aka Henry F. Carl. Both Anna and Christian were born in Germany, and immigrated to Columbus, Prairie Twp, Franklin Co, Ohio. They had these nine children: Augusta, who married Simon Feder; Louisa C., who married Adam J. Trish; John C., who married Magdalene aka Lena Deitch; Isaac F., who married Loris Albert Dougherty; Elizabeth H., aka "Dutch", who married George A. Geyer; Julia W., who married Rudolph Hiltburner; Louis or Lewis W.; William C., who married 1) Doris or Dora Parker; 2) Jane Parker; and 3) Jane ....; and Caroline Carl, who died at 17.
