James Albert Singleton, son of William Terry Singleton and Rachel Mary Fielder married Rhoda Bell Brazzle, daughter of Joshua Brazzle Jr. and Rachel Gano on 4 Nov 1895 in Holton, Jackson Co., KS.
James Albert 17 Aug 1876 - 24 May 1948 was born in St. Augustine, Indian Point Township, Knox Co., IL. and died in Fairbury, Jefferson Co., NE.
Rhoda Bell 4 Oct 1879 - 3 Jun 1934 was born in Barnes, Washington Co., KS and died in Fairbury, Jefferson Co., NE.
James and Rhoda had six children--Rachel Elizabetn, William Joshua, George Washington, Phillip Sylvester, Leona Mildred and Gertrude.
(Interesting story--Rachel (Fielder) Singleton Dodson, James' mother later married Rhoda's father Joshua Brazzle Jr. This made Rachel, not only her mother-in-law but her step-mother as well.)
