Description : This is Sarah Nelson b 1762, Putman, New York married Benjamin Welles b 1756 from Conneticut.
Sarah wrote a paper relating to the Revolution War. and how it related to her and her Children. She resided o the east side of the river, near West Point. Her home was visited by people like General Washington, Putnam and Green. Col. Robinson's home was about a mile from her folks home. If you would like a copy of this paper, contact me.
Sarah married Benjamin in 1782 in Phillipstown, New York.
They had several children. Benjamin was also a surgeon during the war and was held in high reguard. Some called him Hero. Their my 4th Great Grandparents.
