Buddy Baer was the brother of Max Baer, the boxer, and the uncle of Max Baer Jr. (who played Jethro in the Beverley Hillbillies). Buddy had a small boxing career and then went into acting. Most of his movies he was played monster. When I met him he was at a fund raiser for heart disease. His brother died at an early age of heart disease. He was the largest man I ever saw and one of the nicest.
Buddy Baer was born Jacob Henry Baer born 11 Jun 1915 in Denver, CO and died 18 Jul 1986 in Contra Costa county, CA. His parents are Jacob Baer and Dora Bales
