The back of the photo reads, "Marion Given, Mother of Eliz. Given Hess." Marion was the wife of Robert H. Given. Mother of Elizabeth (Lizzy), Bryce, Robert Henry, Charles, George, and Ethel. She was born in Ireland between 1827-1830. She and her husband immigrated to Cincinnati, OH, and later moved to Cook County, IL (where the photo was taken).
