Outside the White House for a photo session, President Harding is posing with his dog "Lassie". To the far right in the photo, is Capt. Richard J. Walters (Retired US Army Corp.), a friend of President Harding.
This photo (taken by National Photo Co. of Washington, DC) is also in the Library of Congress collection. The Walters family had a couple copies for decades.
