Left England for the United States when he was abt 30. Had a farm in Ohio. Came by ox cart from Ohio in 1880 to Mapleton, Kansas.

George, James, Jane, Annie, Joseph, Celina, William and Mattie Belle.
Both are buried at Mapleton Cemetery, Mapleton, Kansas.
