Dionysious Ross, son of Peter A. Ross and Rebecca Ann Atchley, was born 8 Dec. 1849 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio. He married Sally Bell Pearson about 1871 in Kansas. They were the parents of six children. His daughter, Irma Ross wrote a very interesting and extensive biography of Dionysious. I have a copy of that. Dionysious died 19 Dec. 1912 in Jefferson, Montgomery Co., KS.
