Joseph A. Keck, b. 9 Dec 1827 on Keck Homestead in Hempfield Twp (near Greensburg), Westmoreland Co., PA. Migrated in 1846 to Van Buren Co., IA. Married Ingaba T. Ebbert on 5 May 1853 in IA. Joseph and Ingaba Keck had 12 children. Joseph is son of Henry Keck (b. 1804, d. 1863) and Mary Ann Hardin (b. 1809, d. 1874). Joseph A. Keck is author of 1901 History of the Keck Family which may be found on BYU Family History Archive web site http://contentdem.lib.byu.edu/cdm4/document.php?CISOROOT={FH1&CISPTR=76406&CISOSHOW=75568
