Helen "Nellie" Rosalie Callahan and Charles "Charlie" Lawrence Johnson sitting on the steps of their home at #18 North Rowland Street in Richmond. Charlie's father Jacob had come to Virginia from Bohemia at which time the spelling of his surname was changed from 'Jansen' to 'Johnson'. Charlie was an engineer with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad for 53 years.
