2C brown sugar, packed
1/2 C butter 2 whole eggs 1-1/2 C cake flour 2 tsp baking powder pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 C nuts Using large saucepan, place sugar and butter on burner and let come to boil. Cool. To pan, add eggs, flour sifted w/baking powder, salt. Add vanilla, nuts. Pour into 9"sq. pan (spray with Pam first). Bake slowly at 300 for 45 min. They fall toward end of baking time. Cut into squares and dust w/powder sugar.
