SALT 2 CUP ( 12 OZPKG)NESTLE BUTTER SCOTCH MORSELS 2TSP VANILLA 1 CUP CHOPPED NUTS (OPTIONAL) COMBINE MARSHMALLOW CREME,SUGAR,EVAPORATED MILK, BUTTER,SALT IN LARGE SAUCEPAN.BRING TO A BOIL STIRRING CONSTANTLY. BRING TO A BOILING POINT ON THE CANDY THERMOMETER OF 250 DEG. REMOVE FROM HEAT,ADD MORSELS AND VANILLA,STIR UNTIL SMOOTH. STIR IN 1/2 CUP WALNUTS.POUR INTO PAN,SPRINKLE WITH REMAINING WALNUTS,PRESSING IN FIRMLY.CHILL FIRM.SERVE CHILLED OR ROOM TEMP. IF YOU PREFER, USE CHOCOLATE MORSELS INSTEAD OF BUTTER SCOTCH.
