John and Candace [Bennet] Willson came to New York city in 1828. They came from the British Isles with five children, Nancy J - John S - Elisha E - Lydia L - Sarah and Katherine. They settled in Conquest, Cayuga, Ny. He married Candace in 1816. He married Deborah Crapo in 1832. His son George Consider was born in 1833 and came to Michigan in 1874, after Deborah died. He brought his wife, Harriet [Beasimer] Willson and six children. A brother of George, William R and family also came with the George Consider family. John Willson was my gggrandfather, George Consider was my ggrandfather and Edwin E Willson was my grandfather born 6 weeks before the trip from NY to Michigan in 1874. Submitted by Sherry [Willson]
