Hiya, looking for ancestors. I am 55 year old female from maryland born to Marie Barranco and James Jackson Teague from Leicester N.C. Grandaughter of Allen Jerry Teague and Carrie Redmon Teague. I need to find out more on my heritage. Does anyone know of this family. They are all deceased now. They all died when I was young and don't know how to find out more info. Any help would be a godsend. Thank you all and have a nice nice day.

Hello Jackie, I have searched for the Teague family for a long time and have found them to be a very evasive clan. I've been looking for descendants of Quilla Teague who was married to my great-aunt, Anna Maybelle Charlton. According to family stories, they were living in Oklahoma, then Indian Territory in the 1890's. Anna died during that time leaving some children for Quilla to raise. Just wondering where some of the descendants of those children might be. May hunting for your Teagues be a great success! Bubbie in Texas
