My great grandmother, Cassie Armstrong, died of complications caused by a gunshot wound to the head in the early to mid 1900's. My father says it is rumored that my gr. grandfather, Dick Armstrong, may have shot her, but it is recorded that she shot herself. The scandal surrounding this is that gr. gradfather had an affair with gr. grandmother's sister who became pregnant as a result. Email me if you have any info!
