Johanna Barrington (widow of William A. Leverett)
(daughter of William Winfield Barrington)

After the death of William Augusta Leverett in 1898 and after the 1900 Federal Census, Johanna Barrington (widow of William A. Leverett), moved to nearby Butler County, Alabama where she is listed living with her son Walter in the Township of Dock in precinct # 4. Nearby are several members of the Tindal family and also the family of John Dean, brother of Samuel Mack Dean. Listed in the census is Walter Leverett, not married and age 20. His mother Johanna is listed as 44 years of age. Next listed are sisters Rhoda age 16 and Daisy age 12. Her son John W. Leverett married prior to this census.

Johanna Barrington and William Augusta Leverett are buried at the Blackrock Cemetery in Crenshaw County, Alabama.
