Amelia Frieda Kirves, George went to prison in 1902 for stealing a wheelbarrow of cabbages. Amelia divorced him then but re-married him later. He was in the Indiana State Prison. From all acoounts, George was a "character". After Amelia's death he re-married but the marriage didn't last long, they separated and he spent his last years in the home of his Son and daughter-in-law.
