But by Ez 16:46 was S. southly on the right side from Jerusalem, so south from the Dead sea. Name Sodoma is genearly the same as name Dzebel Usdum on the southwest of the end of the Dead sea. Hasesontamar is the same with Tamar /tamar means in Hebrew the palm/ from Ez 47:19, which as situated circa 32 km southwest from Dead sea, so on the way from Kades to Sodoma, supposing we can look for it on the south from Dead sea, eastern from Dzebel Usdum, south from the halfisland El Lisan, where is the deep fo the sea only 3-4 m, but the deep in north part reaches 300 m. From genealogical sight I suppose that Sodoma should be descendants of Lot which had two sons from his own daughters, because king of Sodoma with family probably died in Sodoma, Genesis 14. Lot was son of Haran, nepthew of Abraham Gn 11-13. Todays Arabs calls Dead sea the Lot's sea. In 2Pt 2:7-8 was Lot justice man. Lot had two sons, Gn 19. Older daughter gave bifth to son Moab, what means the descendant of fathers and the younger gave birth to son Ben-ammi what means Son of my people and he is the father of sons of Ammon till todays, so prince family.
