McManigell-Decatur Herald and Review
DECATUR — Michael S. McManigell, 48, of Hernando, Fla., formerly of Decatur, died Friday (Dec. 29, 2006) in Citrus Memorial Health Systems, Inverness, Fla. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, Fla., with the Rev. Daniel Lyman officiating. Heinz Funeral Home & Cremation, Iverness, Fla., is assisting the family with arrangements. Michael was born Aug. 11, 1958, in Decatur, the son of Carmon Conder McManigell and Robert E. “Mack” McManigell. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from July 1977 to April 1980. He moved to Hernando, Fla. in 2002 from Indianapolis, Ind. He loved his pets P.J. and Jake. Surviving are his wife, Glenna; children, Clay Smith, Candice Carr and Holly Rogers; parents; siblings, Robert E. (Gloria) McManigell, Lisa M. McManigell, Nina M. (Charles) Reynolds, Rose L. (James) Harris; grandchildren, Satchele Smith, Francis Smith, Patrick Sancken, Kaylee Brackney, Dreah Alene Dunn and Kiley Rogers; nieces, Amy Lynn Harris and Morgan Paige McManigell; nephew, David E. Lee Qualls; brother-in-law and wife, John and Susie Fultz; sister-in-law, Sandy Smith. He was preceded by his son, Michael Dunn.
