My story began four months ago when i began tracing my family tree.my grandad William Harry was the reason i began my research he died when i was seven and i never got the chance to ask him about his past.I have traced back to my grandads father Harold Foley who had eight children he was a branch manager for allied news papers.Harolds father was William John Foley born in 1868
He married elizabeth ellen in 1887 they had eight children sadly four of the childern died due to illness.The children who survived were Mary.Ada.Lily and Harold . I traced my great great grandads grave a few months ago due to old age the stone had gone and there was just a space of grass next to a grave.I lay a red rose on the grass and shed a tear for the people who were the reason i stand here today . Last week my grandads sister sent me some photographs about ninty years old of Williams children and his wife Elizabeth and there to my shock was a girl Mary Foley staring at me whose face looked exactly like mine.
