Our family has old notes of ancestor named Constant Hart who fought in the Revolution with his son in law Nathaniel Powers who had married Constant's daughter Jerusha( born around 1756) in 1776 in Madrid NY. Constant may have been of the Ipswich or Rhode Island Harts and his birth date is not known to us but he died in 1792 in Windham County Vt from which some Powers had come-
It may be that his line back is Nathaniel to George to Thomas to Thomas (1615 in England-1673 in Ipswich Mass) to Stephen in England- he may have been married twice to Sarah Russell about 1747 and to hannah Holland aft 1753 Any help would be appreciated in finding out more about this family Stephanie Detjens detjensj@comcast.net
