Benjamin "Chickasaw Ben" White (Wesley) was born on Jan 30 1762 in Amherst County Virginia. He died on Oct 18 1850 in Pond Fork,Boone County Virginia..

Ben White was born in the part of Frederick Co., VA that later

became Shenandoah Co., VA. Shortly after marrying Nancy
Goodwin they moved to Green Co., NC. This is supported i n a
land sale by Benjamin and his brother Brittain that was left
to them by their father. January 27, 1791 Land Deed "...
Britain White of County Shenandoah, VA and Benjamin White,
now of Green Co., NC, both sons of William White, deceased...
" A few years later they settled on the south side of
Christians Fork ofBru sh Creek in Montgomery Co., i n the
later part of 1787; this later became Giles Co., V A in 1806
where all eleven of their children were born. On April 26,
1819 they sold this property consisting of 38 8 acres to
Daniel mcKenzie for four hundred dollars and moved to what
is now Logan Co., W V. Their cabin was built on Buffalo Creek,
a tributary of the Guyandot te River. They lived there for
almost 20 years before moving again, across the mountains
to Upper Pond Fork of Little Coal River in now what is Boone
Co., WV. Military served in the Revolutionary War from
Botetourt Co., VA

1000 acres; Louisa 35; Eveline 14; Emelia 12; Nancy 8; Nancy
White (Louisa's mother) age 92; and Daniel Elkins age 17.


Benjamin married Nancy Goodwin daughter of Micajah Goodwin and Elizabeth Burford on Jul 10 1787 in Amherst County Virginia. Nancy was born on May 16 1764 in Amherst County Virginia. She died on Nov 17 1851 in Pond Fork,Boone County Virginia..

They had the following children:

i. James Perry White was born on Aug 11 1791. He died in 1839.

ii. Cornelius White was born on Jun 10 1793. He died on May 27 1874.

iii. Editha White was born in 1796. She died after 1870.

iv. Elizabeth White was born in 1799. She died on Sep 23 1876 in Logan County West Virginia..
Elizabeth married Druy Elkins .

v. Benjamin Wesley White was born in 1803. He died in 1870.

vi. Paulina Jean White was born on Jan 12 1805. She died on Nov 26 1872.

vii. Virginia White was born in 1806.

viii. Micajah Goodwin White was born on May 21 1810. He died on Dec 4 1883.

ix. Elijah White was born in 1812.

x. Louisa White was born in 1815.
Louisa married Andrew Workman son of Joseph Workman and Elizabeth McNeely. Andrew was born in 1814 in Giles County Virginia.
