She died on Jan 22 1956 in Clio,Roane County West Virginia. Mrs. Liddie" Jett" Drake, born Feb. 5, 1872 and entered into rest,January 22, 1956 at the age of 83 years, 11 months and 7 days. She wasborn in Ritchie County, daughter of the late John and Delila Norman Jett.She was a member of the Hurricane Baptist Church and a member of theHarley Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are four sons, Ora, Gay, Orvile and Earl Drake, all of Clio;three daughters; Mrs. Delpa Burns and Mrs. Elsie Shafer of Clendenin andMrs. Flotie Douglas of Belle; four brothers, Otha and George Jett ofClio, Garfield of Clendenin and Arley Jett of Detroit, Michigan; two halfbrothers, Willie Jett of Parcoal and Cecil Jett of Clendenin; twosisters, Mrs. Alice Lewis of St. Albans and Mrs. Mary Butler ofCharleton; twenty six grandchildren; forty five great grandchildren andfive great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Her husband, Mr. Fleming E. Drake, entered into rest last Wednesday,January 18 1956.
