i found out through my aunt who researched my family tree a few years back and heard of general israel putnam,i seen the picture of him in the encyclopedia,and heard of his famous saying "dont shoot till you see the whites of their eyes"he also brought in reinforcements to General George Washinton on Breeds Hill,during the revolutionary war.i would like to know more about him if possible.
